No matter what role I take on in the production process for a show, my intention is almost always the same. In creating this art, I focus on a primary notion: "What kind of questions are we asking?" Not just to the audience, but also to the actors, the director, the designers— what are we prompting them to have curiosity about? Even if the question isn't overly profound or philosophical, there is something that we should all be taking away. I believe even theatre for the pure intent of entertainment and feeling good can contain some sort of intrigue, big or small. My artistic mission is to always ask, and not be afraid to try to answer— even if I may be wrong.
